I thought Janet danced well...but sounded horrible....which is funny because it appears to be lip synced.

She danced very well! But her voice was a bit off. But i don't care, i think she did well i love Janet, she did her brother proud

The clip I was watching online was horrible quality and out of sync so I couldn't really tell...but now that I caught the re airing on MTV you are absolutely right. The mic is LIVE and she should have taken a lesson from Michael and lip synced

anyways i just notice the guy during smooth criminal who almost fell and banged his head cause the shoes didnt click in for leanin part. i admitt that was a lil funny. i think was best tribute of mj so far. the graphics were amazing. gil janet cheographer did all graphics for the tribute. i love how made mj face during thriller pop out in spots and change colors.

I was shocked by Janet's voice. I never heard her sound like that before.

I think she did an amazing job. I got very emotional when she made her entrance. It was hard seeing her do that song without Michael there. I always wondered what it would be like for them to do it together live. But I loved the performance. I'm proud of her.

No, what I'm saying is she's a better performer than she is a vocalist...after all she is notorious for lip syncing most of her "live" performances. Her dancing was flawless. I am in no way a Janet hater so let's make that clear. I have every Janet album up til Velvet Rope. I think Velvet Rope was the masterpiece of Janet's career. No album that she has put out since V.R. has impressed me at all (with the exception of ONE track: "So Excited" with Khia).

I was just a little disappointed in the performance last night. That's all!!

HAHA it's no secret that Janet Lipped this and 99.9% of all award show/tour performances... she pre-recorded the vocals beforehand... she does it all the time...

her vocals are raw.. i loved them..

Janet never had a good voice anyway...As for the performance it was good but not like in the video....It's been 14 years....

I do find it funny that you're bashing on a "one-hit wonder" when you're on a LaToya Jackson(someone who hasn't even had ONE hit) forum.

I loved the Proformace So Much & she sound like Michael a bit. Love the dance & the clothes too. You should hear her single Make Me, it's sounds like Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough. I was on Eid Holidays & also shifting too. Boy it's hard work. & Guess in my country we are planning to make a Tribute for Michael Jackson too & lots of surprises on the way. Janet You Rock Girl & WELCOME BACK.
